Chapter 1 – Crying with You

7:14 chiều – 21/04/2025

Because of a fleeting moment of weakness, you gave your happiness to me.

You were like a flirtatious butterfly, fluttering around in search of fragrant flowers, stealing their sweet nectar, then flying away.

After the pleasure, you walked away, leaving me with pain and shame.

I regretted trusting you so easily, giving my heart to someone unworthy—so indifferent, so heartless.

Why is life so cruel to me?

That foolish moment unintentionally planted a seed of life, a fragile, innocent soul.

It grew slowly, quietly.

A small, helpless being who came into this world by accident.

One day, I realized the presence of that little soul.

A whirlwind of emotions overwhelmed me—fear, sorrow, and anguish.

I didn’t know what to do with the child, lost in endless thoughts.

I feared the harsh words of this world, that they’d call me a disgraceful girl, foolish for not guarding herself.

I feared the old judgments of society.

But I couldn’t abandon my child, because this little life was innocent.

All the mistakes were mine, so let me bear the burden alone.

Swallowing my tears, enduring the scorn of the world, I turned all resentment into love.

Watching the baby grow day by day, with gentle eyes full of tenderness.

And when that first cry echoed, happiness burst within me—

Welcome to the world, my child.

Oh girl, how strong you are!

Carrying the weight of your family on your shoulders.

Being both a mother and a father—aren’t you tired?

All the worries you carry alone, even the cruel voices of the world, you quietly endure.

Your tears swallowed deep inside, wearing your brightest smile on your lips.

Oh girl, you are so brave!

A hero in the eyes of your child,

A genius who knows it all,

Teaching your child right from wrong,

Instilling countless life lessons—from how to live to how to behave—

Your lullabies filled with endless tenderness.

All day lost in a sea of work, you never get to rest.

Oh girl, so strong and resilient—

But at night, aren’t you tired?

Your slender shoulders have no place to lean on,

Even when you collapse, you must rise on your own.

Please, just once, rest your weary heart on my shoulder.

Let me share the burdens of your life.

Let me cry with you, even if it’s only once.
