There’s a kind of feeling called longing—
missing someone you can’t speak of,
saying you’ve forgotten,
yet unable to forget.
You know it’s wrong,
but it can’t be mended.
You know you miss them,
but you don’t dare let them know.
Oh, that burning, aching feeling.
So many times,
I’ve quietly asked myself:
